Less than 90 minutes from London, our charming Victorian house offers a different pace of life.

Set on a quiet Ramsgate street, moments from the beach and harbour, it’s the kind of place made for slow mornings, sea swims, long lunches and afternoons that unfold without much of a plan. We’ve carefully restored the house over time, filling it with colour, character and the little details that make it feel like a home rather than somewhere simply to stay.

We’re Eric and Chris, and along with our dog Harry, this is the place we call home. By day, Chris works as a Props Supervisor in London’s West End, where an eye for detail, furniture, fabrics and finishes is part of everyday life. Bringing that same appreciation for craftsmanship into our own home has been one of the most rewarding parts of the project, and we’re delighted to share it with others.

Spend the day exploring Ramsgate’s independent cafés, galleries and waterfront, or venture just a few minutes along the coast to discover the vibrant creative scene of Margate or the charming bays and streets of Broadstairs. Return home to cook, read, gather around the table or simply enjoy the calm of the garden. Whether you’re visiting for a long weekend or a longer stay, we hope it’s somewhere you can truly switch off.
