When friends and family come to stay, these are almost always the places we send them. Some are our favourite spots for breakfast or coffee, others are where we go for dinner, a drink or a wander along the coast. They’re the cafés, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and independent shops we’ve found ourselves returning to time and time again.
Ramsgate has a wonderful way of rewarding anyone who takes the time to explore, and many of our favourite places are the ones you might otherwise walk straight past. We hope this little guide helps you discover a few of them, and that by the end of your stay you’ll have found a few favourites of your own.

If we’re heading out for a glass of wine, this is usually where we end up. Great wines, brilliant small plates and a relaxed atmosphere make it very easy to stay longer than planned. It’s one of our favourite spots in Ramsgate.
